Cookie Policy
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep data in your browser in other ways, such as local or session storage. This policy explains what owlattic.com stores in your browser, and why. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
In short
- owlattic.com sets no cookies and stores nothing else in your browser.
- We do not use cookies for advertising, for analytics or to follow you across websites.
- That is why the site shows no cookie banner.
Security checks
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, protects it from attacks. If Cloudflare ever needs to check that a visitor is a person and not an automated program, for example while the site is under attack, it may show a short security check and set a cookie named cf_clearance to remember that your browser passed it. That cookie is strictly necessary to keep the site secure, holds nothing that says who you are, and is described in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.
Visit counts without cookies
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. A small script, loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com, reports which page you viewed, how quickly it loaded, the website that sent you, and your browser, device type and country. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not identify you or follow you to other websites.
When this changes
- Buying: checkout takes place on Stripe’s own pages. Stripe uses cookies there to process your payment and prevent fraud, as described in Stripe’s cookie policy.
- Signing in: if we add accounts for online features, we will use a cookie to keep you signed in. That cookie is strictly necessary too, and we will list it here.
- Anything else: if we ever want to use a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first, and you will be able to change your mind at any time.
Your choices
You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Because the site sets none, it works the same either way. If Cloudflare ever shows you a security check, your browser needs to accept its cookie to pass it.
